We are delighted to announce the appointment of Marcia Johnson as a Director in our Audit & Assurance division. Marcia Johnson re-joins Armada as familiar face to some of our team members and clients, having worked for Abbott Solutions from May 2014 – December 2015. Marcia is joining Nigel Dias as a Director of Armada Audit & Assurance.

Marcia has been working in public practice for nearly two decades, both in South Africa and Australia and brings a wealth of experience to this role.

Beginning her career in a major national firm based in Cape Town South Africa, Marcia steadily rose up the ranks from Auditor to Director. In 2008, she became a Chartered Accountant and was appointed Director two years later. Following her migration to Australia in 2013, Marcia qualified as an Approved SMSF Auditor and a Registered Company Auditor.

Marcia has expertise in external and internal audit and assurance, financial reporting, risk management, and financial controls. She has worked with a variety of clients, ranging from ASX-listed Companies to Local Governments and Not-for-Profit entities. Marcia has a proven track record of helping clients understand their financial reporting obligations and in providing practical solutions to complex accounting and financial control issues.

We are confident that her expertise and leadership will be an invaluable asset to the Armada team in the years to come. Welcome aboard, Marcia.
