Tony McDowell is the Managing Director of Armada Accountants & Advisors and has over 25 years’ experience in working with clients to achieve their goals.

He provides advice to small and medium business enterprises, utilising his expertise in taxation planning, wealth creation strategies, due diligence and business valuations.

Tony has a Bachelor of Business and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Tony is also a Chartered Tax Adviser and Member of The Tax Institute, as well as a registered Tax Agent.

Director of Business Services

Stuart is a Director of Business Services at Armada Accountants & Advisors and oversees our Christmas and Cocos Island clients as well as various administration functions of the firm.

Having owned and operated several small businesses, and with over 14 years of experience, Stuart thrives on using his practical knowledge to achieve superior results for clients.

Stuart has particular expertise in working with Medical Businesses and Trades Businesses.

Alan Thomas has over 30 years’ experience in the accounting profession, predominantly in public practice.

He has significant experience in most areas of accounting, taxation, company administration, and business management.

His passion remains providing efficient and practical taxation, and financial advice to a diverse client base.

He has particular expertise in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, Business Restructures, Trusts and Capital Gains Tax.

Troy Figliomeni

With over 25 years’ experience working in public practice, Troy provides advice to Various Businesses and specialises in Company Taxation, Tax Planning, Asset Protection, Wealth Creation Strategies and International Businesses Trading in Australia.

Troy also has an understanding and experience working with and improving businesses in the industries of Engineering, Retail, Building Industries as well as International Companies trading in Australia.

Troy has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Edith Cowan University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) and a Member of The Tax Institute where he sits on the Professional Development Committee.linked

Mark De Luca is a Director and ambassador of Armada, with a focus of striving to improve people’s lives as if it were his own.

More specifically, he has had more than 25 years of experience in helping all types of clients maximise their overall wealth and protecting such wealth.

Mark’s industry focuses are in the areas of Mining and Resources, Building and Construction, Real Estate, Manufacturing and high net worth families with complex structures.

He has particular expertise in improving business performance, protecting family and business assets by careful structuring, whilst considering the tax advantages of such structures.

Sean Henbury

Sean Henbury

As a Director at Armada Tax & Accounting with over 20 years’ experience in public practice, Sean has been able to profile professional advice to better the future of his clients businesses.

He has provided client support across a wide range of industries including mining, exploration, research and development.

Sean’s primary areas of expertise include, Taxation Consulting and Compliance, Corporate Restructuring, Financial Reporting and Company Secretarial Requirements.

He has been the company secretary of a number of publicly listed companies and is regularly called upon to advise Directors of their duties.

Sean is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand, a Chartered Tax Adviser and Member of The Tax Institute, as well as a registered Tax Agent and a registered Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditor.

By spending time with his clients to gain a full understanding of their business and individual needs, Sean is able to provide a service tailored to his client’s needs at an excellent standard.

Having been in business previously, he understands the challenges that face business owners today and provides a quality service specialising in taxation, superannuation and business management with a focus on assisting small to medium enterprises.

His knowledge and experience in industries such as engineering, industrial, retail, building and mining is also of great value to our clients.

Janie Quinn is a CPA qualified accountant and Director of Armada Accountants & Advisors with over 30 years’ experience.

Anthony Raykos

Anthony Raykos

Anthony Raykos is a Chartered Accountant who has over 20 years’ experience in providing accounting and taxation services to clients across a wide range of industries.

During his career he spent time in the UK as a Management Accountant in both a FTSE 100 company and a large US based company in the UK which has given Anthony insight into how businesses are run.

Over his career he has developed management accounting skills including Budgeting, Forecasts and variance analysis and is proficient in all aspects of Financial Accounting. Anthony is experienced in working with business owners in the Building, Development and Construction, Engineering and Professional Services sectors.  He runs the Crypto Tax division of Armada.

He has worked with ASX listed companies, private companies and individuals.

He works closely with his clients to monitor their business performance and assist them in implementing measures that facilitate the achievement of their business goals.

Nigel Dias is the Director of Armada Audit Services and has over 15 years of extensive Audit & Assurance experience with businesses of varying size and scale.

Nigel appreciates that no two projects are the same and for clients, delivers results.

Being in business is about building legacies, discovering opportunities and creating value. Keeping these in mind, Nigel stimulates success through continuous improvement. Whether its uncovering problematic accounting practices, identifying efficiency gains or providing cost-effective recommendations.

He works closely with clients to manage their obligations, improve their internal controls and expedite their success.
