ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Intermediate Accountant role sits within our Tax & Accounting team and offers genuine long‑term career progression in a firm that actively invests in its people.
You’ll work across a diverse client portfolio, building your technical capability while developing strong, professional relationships with clients. The role goes beyond compliance, providing exposure to advisory work and the opportunity to grow in confidence and capability as your experience develops.
You’ll be supported through structured learning and development, access to experienced mentors, and clear documented pathways toward senior roles, so you can see how your career can progress with Armada.
ABOUT YOU:
- A degree qualification in Accounting, ideally CA or CPA qualified (or working towards professional membership).
- 3-4 years’ experience in public practice.
- Strong attention to detail and a professional approach to your work.
- Confidence communicating with both clients and colleagues.
- Experience with MYOB products, including AE.
- Working knowledge of Xero.
- Exposure to SMSFs (desirable but not essential).
- A solid understanding of Australian tax and superannuation law.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
BENEFITS:
- Flexibility that fits your lifestyle – whether that’s early starts, remote days, or making time for school runs or study.
- Working in a bright, modern office in Osborne Park. Complete with an on-site gym, outdoor balcony, and BBQ area. It’s a space designed for both productivity and connection.
- Taking in charge of your career with access to our dedicated learning & development program, tailored to help you build technical skills, grow as a professional and thrive in your role.
- A range of wellness initiatives, as well as confidential support through our Employee Assistance Program, so you feel supported both in and outside of work.
- An active social club – with morning teas on the balcony to paint-and-sip nights and themed trivia, where we make time to connect and celebrate wins together.
If you are looking to join a team where flexibility is trusted, development is genuinely supported, and culture is lived day to day, we’d love to hear from you. We’re seeking people who want to grow, contribute, and build a long‑term career with Armada.
